Know Before Your Stay
Pimatisiwin is a land based camp surrounded by the boreal forest. Our accommodations include comfortable canvas tents and tipis, thoughtfully prepared before you arrive.
Your stay includes a real bed and fresh linens. A wood stove. Access to shared fire pits. Drinking water, and bear-safe food storage.
Be ready for changing mountain weather. We recommend packing warm layers, sturdy footwear, a good hat, and your personal toiletries. Guests are also welcome to bring food to prepare during their stay – which includes full access to the kitchen house.
Pimatisiwin is meant to feel removed from the everyday. Come prepared to spend time outside, sit around the warmth of the fire, and slow down.
Aseniwuche Pimatsiwin is rooted on the traditional lands, and traveling routes of the Aseniwuche Winewak Nation, and Mountain Metis. Our families have lived, travelled and maintained connections throughout these mountains since time immemorial, and that connection continues today.
